Established in 2024, Geostrata Consultants is a Pune-based geotechnical consulting firm specializing in soil investigation and ground engineering services for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. With a strong focus on subsurface exploration. We carry out detailed geotechnical investigations including borehole drilling, soil sampling, rock core logging, and preparation of comprehensive bore logs to accurately assess site conditions. We also deliver well-structured geotechnical reports with clear design recommendations to support safe and efficient foundation solutions.

Dr. Ashwini V. Chavan
She holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from COEP Technological University and brings over 20 years of extensive experience across diverse sectors of civil engineering. Her core areas of expertise include pavement design on expansive soils, foundation engineering, and ground improvement techniques.
She has successfully served as a Project Manager in a reputed organization, demonstrating strong technical leadership, project planning and execution capabilities.
Her technical proficiency encompasses numerical analysis and modelling, MATLAB-based programming, finite element analysis, unsaturated soil mechanics, and the application of geosynthetics in pavement engineering. She possesses in-depth knowledge of pavement design methodologies in accordance with Indian as well as international standards and practices.
She is highly experienced in the preparation of comprehensive geotechnical investigation and design reports for a wide range of infrastructure projects. A Life Fellow of the Indian Geotechnical Society, she has also contributed to the field through research publications in reputed Web of Science indexed journals.
